Why Bax? Traditional craftsmanship,
exclusive materials and lots and lots of love.

BAX has been manufacturing kitchens since 1890. Every kitchen is planned individually and lovingly made by hand. Exclusive materials, traditional craftsmanship, sensible innovations and passion ensure that every single one of our kitchens is unique. Our furniture can be completely manufactured to your wishes, which makes it the perfect match for your home environment.

Dimensional freedom

Dimensional freedom

Every BAX kitchen is unique, a one-off. They can all be planned freely, not to dimensions. Which means we can achieve exceptional design solutions without having to compromise. Our furniture is planned individually so that there is no need for filler panels on appliance niches, and the result is a consistent overall look. You can design and have your BAX kitchen made for you without being tied to standard dimensions. Because we follow your plans. Not the other way round.

  • Best possible utilisation of individual room geometries thanks to the high level of planning freedom
  • Clear lines and harmonious design
  • Covers a wide range of ergonomic requirements
  • Furniture all made individually, eliminating the need for filler panels
  • Generous storage space thanks to the optimum utilisation of the available space

Variety

Variety

BAX kitchens are not traditional mass products, but hand-crafted one-offs that are made in a manufactory. So we do not have to concern ourselves with minimum quantities, but can develop individual solutions for every single kitchen. Which is why we are able to offer such a unique variety. At BAX, you will find modern handle-less architecture kitchens and an extensive range of traditional styles (country-house), including designs with face frames and inset and overlay doors. BAX kitchens are available in almost any finish, any material and any colour. You have an endless choice of possible combinations so you can easily make your planning wishes come true with BAX.

  • Wide variety of materials and finishes
  • Broad individual selection of the usual colour ranges (RAL, NCS, Sikkens etc.)
  • Extensive range of veneers
  • Carcase edges and handle profiles can be in the same colour as the front

Quality

Quality

To BAX, quality is a matter of course. It is evident in many of the details. And it is the combination of these little things that make the difference. It is no coincidence that a BAX kitchen still looks good decades later. It really is a kitchen for life.

  • Carcase material and shelves: 19 mm thick
  • Back panel: 8 mm particleboard, coated on both sides, grooved and glued all-round
  • Plinth panel made of furniture board, waterproof glued, coated and with a sealing profile
  • High stability of plinth corners thanks to the use of aluminium profiles
  • High-quality hardware technology on hinges, drawers and storage solutions
  • Natural wood can also be used inside the carcase instead of particleboard (furniture board carcase)

Hand crafted

Hand crafted

We make our kitchens by hand. And we do so with an impressive depth of production. Whether doors or carcases, we make every single item ourselves. This means we can be sure that everything meets our quality standards. We specialise in discerning woodwork. We refine and process wooden finishes by oiling, sanding, wiping, patinating and lacquering them (including brushed lacquer). We make sure that the grain on our veneered fronts is continuous. Skilled craftsmanship – not commonplace, but a matter of course to us.

  • Skill and artisanship for over 100 years
  • All our carpenters are highly qualified
  • Excellent depth of production on fronts, carcases and worktops
  • Years of tradition in hand-processing and finishing woods and surfaces
  • We also manufacture other items of furniture such as tables, benches and shelves with passion and experience
